The following terms and conditions apply to all bookings made online and over the phone.
All customers making online, or phone bookings agree to be bound by these terms and conditions which may change from time to time without advance notice.

Age Restrictions 

  • Guests under the age of 18 years must be accompanied by an adult.  

  • We reserve the right to cancel any booking where this condition is not met and you will be asked to vacate the property, no refund will be provided.  

After Hours Arrival 

  • The latest arrival time for a prearranged after hours check in is 9 pm.  

  • The boom gate at the entrance to Habitat Noosa closes at 9 pm and you will not be able to enter the property after this time.  

  • Please keep in mind you will need to complete your setup by 10 pm as our noise curfew starts at 10 pm. 
     
     

Amendments  

  • Amendments made more than 14 days prior to arrival are permitted. 

  • An administration fee applies each and every time a booking is amended.

  • Amendments made less than 14 days prior to arrival are permitted.
    The first night is non refundable, any remaining balance will be held as a non-refundable credit for 12 months from the original date of payment. After 12 months from original date of payment any remaining credit will expire. 

  • Credit balances are non-transferable and can only be used for accommodation.

  • Amendments after 5 pm the day prior to arrival are not permitted and all monies will be forfeited.

  • Any special, sale, promo, or discounted rate listed as “non-changeable” cannot be amended under any circumstances.  

   
Administration Fee 

  • Our administration fee is $25.00 

 
Cancellations  

  • Cancellations can only be made via email or via our online portal, phone cancellations will no longer be permitted.
    Please email 
    res@habitatnoosa.com.au and ensure you include your name, mobile number and booking number. Alternatively cancel online HERE or cut and paste the following weblink

  • If you booked with a travel agent or third party for example:
    Expedia, Booking.com, HIP Camp, Luxury Escapes, Flight Centre, Hotels.com etc
    Please contact your booking agent directly as we are unable to cancel a booking made by an agent. 

  • Cancellations made more than 14 days prior to arrival are permitted. A full refund less an administration fee will be issued.  

  • Cancellations made less than 14 days prior to arrival are not permitted. A 100% cancellation fee applies.  

  • Any special, sale, promo, or discounted rate listed as “non-refundable” cannot be cancelled under any circumstances and will result in a 100% cancelation fee.   

 
Check-in  

  • Campsite check-in is from 12 pm  

  • Glamping Tents (Wilderness & Paperbark) check-in is from 3 pm  
     
     

Check-out  

  • Check-out for all guests is before 10 am  

 
Credit Card Surcharge  

  • A 1.75% credit card surcharge applies to payments made by credit card 

  • A pre-authorisation may be required at the time of check-in to cover any incidental charges, damage or security bond.  

 
Damage 

  • Any damage to your site, tent or our general facilities resulting in repairs or replacement will be charged to your credit card accordingly.   

  • Any room keys broken, lost, or damaged will be charged at $50 per key. 

Delayed Arrivals / Early Departures 

  • For any reason, if a customer arrives later or departs earlier than booked no refunds or credits will be issued. 

  • If you wish to arrive later than booked, you must advise reception on 07-5485-3165 by 5 pm on the day of your booked arrival. Failure to advise reception will result in your booking being cancelled and will be considered a no-show.  

Fires 

  • Braziers are the only campfires permitted.  

  • They must be raised off the ground at least 200mm and enclosed. 

  • Keep a clear space of at least 3m around the fire. 

  • Never light fires on the ground. 

  • Never leave a fire unattended. 

  • Always completely extinguish all fires before leaving an area or going to bed. Embers can and do start bushfires even at night. 

  • If conditions as deemed unsafe (such as bush fires close by) we may have to close for visitors’ safety.  

  • Fire restrictions can be imposed at any time and with immediate effect. We cannot guarantee that you will be able to have a campfire. All guests and visitors must comply with staff instructions. 

  • Stoves, barbecues and other appliances powered by burning liquid / fuel are subject to the same restrictions as campfires. 

Functions / Events / Group Bookings 

  • We only allow the use of the Habitat Noosa Everglades Eco Camp for short term stays only. (Less than 30 days). Stays longer than 30 days are not permitted.  

  • Any other proposed use such as a function, special events, birthday celebrations, group gatherings, or commercial use will require prior written approval from Habitat Noosa management. 

Generators

  • You must always be considerate of other guests and the environment. 

  • Generator use is only permitted between the hours of 9am to 6pm 

  • You must not use generators after 6pm or before 9am

  • Position it closer to you than to other campers 

  • Ensure cords do not cross areas used by other guests 

  • Keep running time to no more than 2 hours per day 

  • Keep at least a 3m space around the generator 

  • Never leave a running generator unattended 

  • Generators must not be used during a fire ban 

Paperbark Glamping Tents & Wilderness Safari Tents 

  • No temporary marquees or gazebos are permitted to be placed/erected in or around any of the tents 

  • No portable gas or electric BBQ’s can be used inside the tents or immediately around any of the glamping tents (balcony) 

  • No temporary tarps, clothes lines or structures can be fixed to any glamping tent 

  • No floor covering items put on the grass areas which cover the grass between or in/around our glamping tent 

  • A cleaning fee of $150 applies to any soiled mattress. 

  • The tents must be left in a tidy condition or a clean fee of $150 may be charged to your credit card.  

Party Policy  

  • We have a strict no-party policy.   

  • Breaching this may result in you being asked to vacate the property and being blacklisted from returning. If security is called, you may be charged a $500 security call-out fee 
     

Payment  

  • All bookings must be paid at the time of booking.  

  • We are unable to hold a site without receiving full prepayment.  

Personal information

  • All guests must provide full and correct personal details at the time of booking. 

  • If any changes occur, we must be informed of any changes to the personal details, you provided when you made your booking. 

Pets 

  • Pets are not permitted on-site as we are located inside a national park.  

  • Qualified assistance animals are permitted to enter Habitat Noosa Everglades Eco Camp; however, a requirement of entry is reasonable proof that it is an assistance animal must be provided on request. Assistance animals are required to wear a visible assistance coat, cape, vest, harness, medallion permit, or similar items worn by the animals whilst onsite. It is requirement that all assistance animals remain under the strict control (e.g., leash) of the carer during their visit to Habitat Noosa. If staying onsite at Habitat Noosa, it is recommended that anyone bringing an assistance animal onsite for multiday stay contact QPWS before entering or booking accommodation. This will help QPWS to make arrangements which will ensure your visit to Habitat Noosa is safe and enjoyable.These regulations are part of Queensland Parks and Wildlife Services protection of native wildlife.  

Privacy Policy  

  • Habitat Noosa collects and handles your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, so that we can provide and administer our products and services, travel products, processing bookings, payments, check-ins, and cancellations and provide you information about these. Without your information, we may not be able to provide you products and services and you may miss out on receiving valuable information from us. If you are located outside of Australia, please be aware that any information you provide to us, will be transferred from your country of origin to Australia and you consent to this transfer. 

  • We may disclose your personal information to third-party operators and providers of ‘travel deals’ you have booked or enquired about, to sponsors and partners when you enter a competition or promotion, and to our umbrella organisation Eco Camp Pty Ltd. These third parties may have servers located overseas such as in Europe, the USA, and UK and you consent to these disclosures. If you are providing information on behalf of someone else, you confirm that you have the authority to do so, and you have given them the information set out in our Privacy Policy and they have not objected to our handling, use, and disclosure of their personal information. You have a right to access your personal information that we hold and may ask us to update, correct or delete this.  

Prices / Rates  

  • We reserve the right to alter rates at any time. 

  • All rates are inclusive of GST 

Maximum Guest Numbers  

  • Each campsite or tent has a maximum occupancy limit. You are not permitted to exceed this limit. If we become aware at any time the maximum number has been exceeded a charge equivalent to an additional site will be charged to your credit card.

  • The sites or tents may only be occupied by the person/s listed in the reservation system and only be occupied by no more than the number of people approved, specified and paid for in your reservation. 

  • Powered & unpowered campsites up to 6 persons

  • Mays Grove Extra-large site up to 15 persons

  • Wilderness Safaris Tents up to 6 persons 

  • Paperbark Glamping Tents up to 4 persons 

  • We reserve the right to charge for additional occupants not included in the original reservation.  

Medical Equipment

  • Should you need the use of a generator to operate a disability aid or essential medical equipment you can email us to apply for exemption from general restrictions on their use res@habitatnoosa.com.au 

 Noise  

  • We operate a zero-noise policy between 10 pm and 6 am.  

  • No loud music to be played at any time. Your music should not be heard by anyone outside of your tent or site.  

  • Any guest breaching the noise policy will be asked to vacate the property. No refunds will be extended from a breach of the park’s terms and conditions.   

Non-compliance   

  • We reserve the right to cancel any booking before or during a stay including all guests associated with the booking if there is a breach of these terms and conditions 

No-Shows  

  • If a guest fails to show up for their booking on the day of arrival, they will incur a 100% cancellation fee. No refunds, credits, cancellations or amendments are permitted.   

Site Requests  

  • The ability to request a specific campsite is available on certain rate types at an additional cost. 

  • Site requests are on a request basis only and will not be guaranteed at any time.  

  • We reserve the right to decline a request or change your site number for any reason 

  • Site requests are not permitted for our Paperbark or Wilderness tents and customers will be allocated a tent based on what is available upon check-in.  

Travel Insurance  

  • Please contact your preferred travel insurance provider to take out appropriate cover for unforeseen circumstances such as sickness, weather, injury or any other event which may result in your having to cancel or amend your booking.  

Vehicles 

  • The following combination is included in the rates (excludes campsites marked “tent only”): 

  • 1 x car + 1 x caravan = 1 vehicle 

  • 1 x car + 1 x camper trailer = 1 vehicle 

  • 1 x RV/Motorhome = 1 vehicle 

  • Mays Grove Extra Large sites permit double the usual number of vehicles. 

  • We reserve the right to charge for each additional vehicle 

 Weather

  • Refunds will not be provided due to weather conditions or natural events outside the control of Habitat Noosa. 

  • We are based inside a national park, and we have no control over where water may flow or remain during and after heavy rainfall.   

  • We highly recommend you take out appropriate travel insurance to cover weather-related events.  

  • We provide an accurate description of our various camping areas. 

  • It is the responsibility of guests to ensure they have selected the right type of site for the equipment they are traveling with. Habitat Noosa Everglades Eco Camp takes no responsibility for the incorrect campsite being selected.
