It’s our pleasure to have you staying with us at Habitat Noosa.
Please find important information below that will help you get the most out of your stay and should answer any questions you may have.

Our guest services office is open from 8am to 6pm daily (7pm Fridays and Saturdays).

Additional vehicles

Can we have more than one vehicle on our site?
One vehicle per site is included in the per night rate. 
During off peak periods (Low Season) guests can add a second vehicle per site for $10 per night
or you can leave the additional vehicle/s in our visitor car park at no charge. 

Please note: You can not add additional vehicles to our Mays Grove Extra Large sites. 
Adding additional vechicle is not available during peak periods (High Season),
April and September school holidays, long weekends or at any time the property is under capacity constrains. 

 

CAMP KITCHEN

We have two camp kitchens on site. 
Main camp kitchen contains the following:
2 Electric BBQs
1 Microwave
1 Toaster
1 Kettle / Jug
Dishwashing area
1 Fridge

Wilderness safari tent camp kitchen contains the following:
1 Gas BBQ
1 Microwave
1 Toaster
1 Kettle / Jug
Dishwashing area
1 Fridge

Please note we do not provide cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery or glassware. You must bring these with you. 

Check out time

Check out time is 10am.
Boom gate cards automatically deactivate at 10.15am on departure day.
Please remember to return your key and swipe card to avoid lost card fee.

Check out process

Please return your room key and/or swipe card to reception or in the express check-out box on the wall outside reception.

COOKING

Cooking inside, on the balconies or within 2 meters of the Glamping tents is not permitted.
This ensures the tents remain free of cooking stains, odours and reduces the risk of fires.

A deep cleaning or odour removal charge may apply.

Everglades tours

Visiting the Noosa Everglades is a bucket list experience and one not to be missed.
As a guest of Habitat Noosa, you are eligible to receive a discount.

Extending our stay

If you would like to extend your stay, please see a member of the guest service team who will be happy to help.

FIRe pits

Each Paperbark Glamping tent has its own dedicated fire pit.
Firewood and fire starters can be purchased from reception, CootharaBAR & Bistro and GelatoBAR.
All other sites will need to bring their own fire pits. 
All firepits / braziers must be at least 200mm off the ground and be contained.

GREY WATER

The Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service (QPWS) prohibits the dumping of grey water anywhere on the property, including driveways and roads.
Please use the designated dump point for disposal.
We recommend bringing a bucket or suitable container to capture and dispose of your grey water properly.

HOUSEKEEPING

Our housekeeping team clean the communal facilities at dedicated times throughout the day and night.
At times supplies may run out prior to the next scheduled session so please advise reception and they will pass the information onto Housekeeping. 

Insects and bugs

Insects are a natural part of life here in the National Park. While our buildings and rooms are treated regularly, we recommend keeping your door closed to help prevent mosquitoes and other bugs from coming inside. We also suggest bringing insect repellent for your comfort.

Laundry

Our laundry is open 24/7 for your convenience. Payment can be made using the credit card kiosk. Washing powder is available from the vending machine, or you are welcome to bring your own.

If you are susceptible to feeling the cold in winter, we recommend bringing extra blankets or a portable heater for your comfort.

Lost/DAMAGED key OR card

If you lose or damage your room key, a replacement fee of $50 applies.

If you lose or damage your boom gate card a replacement fee of $20 applies.

Please see a member of our reception team, who will be happy to issue you a new one.

Mobile phoNE COVERAGE

Q: Do you have mobile coverage on the property?
A: Yes. Telstra provides the most reliable coverage, with some 4G/5G available across most of the property and the strongest signal along the lakefront. Optus and Vodafone offer limited coverage, with their best 4G/5G reception also found near the lakefront.

Free WiFi (Limited)
WiFi is available in our Wilderness Tents, Bistro, Bar, and Reception building. To connect, please select “Guest Free WiFi.” No password is required. To ensure fair use, access to certain high-data websites and streaming services (including Netflix, YouTube, Hulu, Hayu, Prime Video) has been restricted. WiFi is available daily from 6am- 9pm.

noise curfew

We ask all guests to be considerate of others by keeping noise to a minimum at all times.
A strict quiet curfew applies from 10:00 pm to 7:00 am. Guests who do not comply may be evicted without refund and prohibited from returning.

Please note: a security call-out fee of up to $1,000 may apply if security services are required at your site.

POWER POINTS IN GLAMPING TENTS

As our tents have canvas walls, the power points in both the Paperbark and Wilderness tents are located in floor-mounted boxes. If they are not immediately visible, please check underneath the beds in your tent.

SITE SIZES

If you are staying in an undesignated area such as The Gums or Mill Point, you are permitted to use an area of up to 8 m² per booking.

Smoking

Our glamping tents and balconies are designated smoke-free areas. If you wish to smoke, please relocate to the driveway. A deep cleaning or odour-removal fee may apply if smoking occurs in these areas.

Smoking at campsites is permitted only if smoke does not drift into other guests’ sites. Please ensure all cigarette butts are disposed of in an appropriate manner.

NO PARTY POLICY

To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests, Habitat Noosa enforces a strict No Party Policy. Gatherings that cause excessive noise, disturbance, or exceed the number of registered guests are not permitted.

Failure to comply may result in immediate eviction without refund, and additional charges may apply for any damages or security call-outs.

Upgrades

Depending on availability, you may be able to purchase an upgrade at check-in. Please speak with a member of our guest services team for more information.

Vending machine

You will find a vending machine outside reception.  Please note this is payment by card only.
